The Russian section in The Department of Asian Languages organized
a scientific trip to the city of Madaba for students who are taking a course in
Russian language in the field of tourism. The students visited different historical places as Lastoria Museum,
which was opened on 17th
March 2013. The museum is located in Syagha and it organizes a
workshop for the largest mosaic in the world. The students also visited Wadi
Al-Sheta, Qasr Al-Ameer, Qasr Al-Abd and a number of caves. Dr. Elena Momani,
Dr. Ina Zarovna and Dr. Ekaterina Fedoseva accompanied their students during
the trip.
