Head of the Department of Asian Languages,
Dr. Bagdagol Mussa met Dr. Rami Tarawneh one of the founders of Wikipedia, the
free encyclopedia to discuss strategies to enrich the Turkish and Arabic content
available on the encyclopedia. Tarawneh gave a brief explanation of the content
and purpose of the project and the
student, Abbad Dirnyyah explained how to use the encyclopedia and to upload articles.
The meeting was also attended by Miss Naima Qaradag (Istanbul Turkish
Cultural Center Foundation), the Turkish team, and students of the Turkish Language Section
namely Nour Othman, Huda Yaghmour, Lana
Khalil and Rawan Hammad.
