Mr.
Yunus Emre Canbay, Director of the Turkish Cultural Center, met
Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Professor Mahmoud Al-Shra’ah, to discuss
the possibility of establishing a B.A. program in Turkish language and literature
in addition to the current B.A. program in Turkish and English. This step will
contribute to expanding the academic cooperation between the two countries and
provide an opportunity for more students to get to know and understand the
Turkish culture. At the end of the meeting, Al-Shra’ah extended his gratitude
to the Turkish side for their continuous cooperation and support for the faculty
and the Turkish Language Section.
