Seminar Titled "Does learning a new language give a new identity and personality?"

The Department of Turkish Language at the University of Jordan held a seminar titled "Does learning  a new language give a new identity and personality?"Haya Al-Daraghmeh a student of the Turkish Language discussed the importance of learning a foreign language and how that contributes to refining and building the personality of the learner. Two other students, namely Saba Obaidat and Nada Al-Kafwain participated in this section.

The seminar was under the patronage of  the Head of the Department of Asian Languages ​Dr. Bagdagul Mussa. It discussed the great contribution of  learning foreign languages to the building of a new identity. Some of the students of the Turkish Language Section shared their personal experience in learning the Turkish language and how their personalities changed.

Dr. Mussa confirmed that learning a new language contributes to building  the learner personality and that depends on the individual's own ability.

The seminar concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the students of the Turkish Language Section who participated in the activity.
