Dr.
Raya Kalaldeh from the Department of English Language and Literature delivered
a lecture in the American Corner on English phonetics. The lecture talked about
the organs of speech and explained the difference between vowels and
consonants. The lecture also focused on differences in the pronunciation of
words between British English and American English. The students enjoyed the
lecture. They asked questions related to the material and answered the
questions and exercises prepared by Dr. Kalaldeh.
