"Love Syndrome" Initiative

Under the patronage of Her Excellency Mrs. Basma Ishaqat, Minister of Social Development, and Prof. Abdulkarim Al-Qudah, President of the University of Jordan (UJ), the School of Foreign Languages launched on Thursday 14/2/2019 the ‘Love Syndrome’ initiative to support children of Alyasmeen Society for Children With Down Syndrome. The children staged a multi-talent show that included singing, dancing and martial arts. 

This special event was attended by Mr. Jeryes Ammari, Director of People with Disabilities Directorate, and Prof. Turki Bani-Khaled, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, in addition to a number of UJ students and faculty members. This noble initiative was coordinated by Assistant Dean for Community Service and External Communication, Dr. Hala Abu Taleb, as well as Departmental Adminstrator, Miss Islam Salem.
