The Department of English
Language and Literature (DELL) held a series of meetings
via Microsoft Teams with postgraduate students to discuss their academic
issues. In one meeting, DELL’s Chair Dr. Barkuzar Dubbati
along with Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Studies Dr. Dima Ammari and the
academic advisor of the MA in Translation Program Dr. Hanan Al-Jabiri discussed
with postgraduate students issues related to the PhD qualifying exam and the MA
comprehensive exam and answered questions on the academic program. In separate
meetings, the academic advisor for the PhD & MA in Linguistics Program Dr. Sherif
El-Ghazou, the academic advisor for the MA in Language, Culture and
Communications Program Dr. Marwan Al Jarrah and the academic advisor for the MA
in Translation Program Dr. Hanan Al-Jabri met with postgraduate students from
the respective programs. These meetings come within the policies of the
Department of English Language and Literature in communicating with postgraduate
students and providing them with academic guidance.
