Program Description :Vision statements of the program: To develop an academic program which rises to internationally accredited standards in the field of teaching English as a ‎second language, by emphasizing values of quality, excellence, creativity, sustainable development and pluralism. Mission statements of the program: The program aims to graduate students equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills to communicate effectively in ‎written and spoken English in different academic, professional and social settings using appropriate structure and ‎language features. Such knowledge and skills also qualify students to learn and teach English as a second language as ‎well as translate several types of texts from and to it within a framework of professional standards and refined values ‎which cherish cultural and linguistic pluralism and advance professional development to meet the needs of the labor ‎market locally and regionally.‎
