The program aims to graduate students equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills to communicate effectively in written and spoken English in different academic, professional and social settings using appropriate structure and language features. Such knowledge and skills also qualify students to learn and teach English as a second language as well as translate several types of texts from and to it within a framework of professional standards and refined values which cherish cultural and linguistic pluralism and advance professional development to meet the needs of the labor market locally and regionally.
