Participation of the faculty members of the Turkish Language section, Head of the Asian Languages Department, Dr. Malek Sawalha, Dr. Bağdagül and Dr. Utku Mehmet Öden in a literary symposium entitled (Turkish Literature Today) which was held at the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center on Wednesday 23/10/2024 by Professor Turan Karataş from Ankara University of Social Sciences and under the supervision of the Turkish Cultural Center administration headed by Mr. Ensar Fırat. This was also attended by an elite group of interested, informed and Turkish-speaking Jordanian poets and writers. Literary and poetic discussions were exchanged in that session and the spotlight was on Turkish poets such as: Sezai Karakoç, Nazım Hikmet and Ziya Gökalp.
