In line with the University of Jordan's approach to link the academic side with the practical side and prepare students for their careers by hosting experts from the labor market, Dr. Yousef Saleh Khataybeh invited Mr. Ahmed Al-Aqrabawi, Assistant Director in China Cultural Center in Amman, and Ms. Lin Qiu, Chinese Language Teacher at the Chinese Cultural Center, to give a lecture on the Chinese language in the field of tourism to Chinese language students in the field of tourism. During the lecture, they talked about the importance of tourism in the global arena and its economic impact on countries and local communities, in addition to introducing the attendees to famous Chinese historical sites at the national and international levels, in addition to a comprehensive explanation of the tourist areas in Jordan and how to attract and organize tourist delegations, and encouraging students studying Chinese to work in the tourism field!
During the interactive lecture, students were involved in group discussions and their inquiries in this field were answered. It is worth noting that this lecture is the second of its kind that Mr. Ahmed and Ms. Ling have given to Chinese language students in the field of tourism.
