The University of Jordan and The Jordanian Duty Free Shops signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at building bridges of cooperation between the two parties. The memorandum seeks to enhance collaborative activities in areas of mutual interest by providing field training opportunities for students of the School of Foreign Languages at the University of Jordan, specifically in the Applied English and English–French programs. The memorandum was signed by the President of the University of Jordan, Prof. Dr. Nadhir Obeidat, and the Chief Executive Officer of Jordanian Duty Free Shops, Eng. Al-Haitham Al-Majali.
This step opens new horizons for strengthening joint cooperation between the two sides in various areas that serve their shared interests, particularly in the field of training. The Jordanian Duty Free Shops Company is considered one of the leading economic institutions with over three decades of experience. Its wide operational scope, diverse land and sea outlets, and highly qualified staff have contributed to establishing its position as a center of expertise in training.
