Prof. Abu Amrieh included in Stanford’s list of the top 2% of researchers

Stanford Elsevier Top Researchers List of the world’s best researchers included faculty member in the Department of English Language and Literature at the School of Foreign Languages, Professor Dr. Yousef Abu Amrieh, among the top 2% of scientists in the world, according to the annual report it issued for the year 2024.

Professor Abu Amrieh obtained his PhD from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2011. He is the founder and leader of an international research group on Arab diasporic literary studies whose membership includes researchers from the US, UK, and Germany.
Professor Abu Amrieh published approximately 80 peer-reviewed papers in international journals. He is also a member of the editorial boards of many literary studies journals. 

This list, using Scopus data provided by Elsevier, aims to provide a standardized way to recognize researchers who have made a significant impact on their respective fields. It draws from a variety of citation metrics, such as the h-index, co-authorship, and adjusted citation counts, to ensure fair and balanced representation of researchers.
