After the second semester of the first year, the students can sit for a proficiency exam in Russian language. Students who pass the exam will be able to continue studying the Russian courses offered in the second year. Students who fail in this exam or opt not to pass it should study and pass Intensive Russian that will bridge the gap between the courses offered in the first year, which is general, and the courses offered in the second year, which are specialized. The course focuses on conversation and listening skills.
