Field training is considered a fundamental pillar of the university educational process, as it plays a pivotal role in enhancing the integration between theoretical knowledge and practical application within academic programs. Field training provides students with a realistic learning environment in which they can apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their academic studies in real professional contexts, thereby reinforcing their practical understanding of various disciplines, particularly in the fields of languages, translation, education, and intercultural communication. Moreover, field training contributes to the development of students’ professional skills, such as effective communication, teamwork, time management, responsibility, and adherence to professional ethics.

In addition, field training enhances students’ awareness of labor market requirements and challenges, helping them develop positive attitudes toward professional work and make more informed decisions regarding their future career paths. It also offers students opportunities for direct engagement with institutions and professionals in their fields of specialization, which enriches their practical experience and expands their professional networks. Accordingly, field training serves as an effective tool for preparing academically and professionally qualified graduates who are capable of contributing effectively to community service and achieving development goals, in alignment with the university’s educational mission and national role.
