Department's Strategy

Mission
	We at the faculty of French Literature look forward to participate in producing graduates who are ambassadors to their university, country and nation. Our students are empowered with the language, the knowledge and the cultural skills and ready to apply what they have learned to real life and reflect a respectful image of Jordan to the whole world. The experiences that our students acquire through their studies assist them in dealing with the national and international developments and enable them to work with others to face contemporary challenges.

Vision
	We believe that giving students a chance to learn the languages and cultures of other civilizations help them know themselves and their interests more. Such knowledge increases their ability to analyze their own culture and work on developing it in order to ensure its continuous growth and ability to keep up with civilization and globalization.

Goals
	We, at the French Department aim at supporting our society with graduates with great potentials and skills in addition to charismatic personalities. Our students are self-motivated and open to other cultures especially the Franco phonic ones. The department aims at shaping students' talents as leaders through facilitating the educational process and providing the right and latest knowledge, ideology, and techniques that emphasize the love for learning and cultures.
