Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College, Dr. Adnan Al-Sammadi, the School of Foreign Languages witnessed the opening of simultaneous and written translation course (Korean-Arabic), organized by King Sejong Institute in Amman housed within the Translation Center
During the opening, an overview of the course content was presented by Jo Moon Hwa, who will be teaching it during the current semester. Jo Moon Hwa also distributed the course textbook to the students enrolled in the course, aiming to encourage them to engage in serious learning and develop their skills in translating from Korean to Arabic.
Representing the Dean of the School, the opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Hussein Al-Hawamdeh, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies, Ola Mesmar, the Director of the Translation Center, Dr. Dina Al-Salman, the Head of the Asian Languages Department, and Dr. Pak Byung-jo from the Korean Language Department.
This course is part of the school's initiatives to improve students' translation skills and foster an engaging and productive learning atmosphere in this domain.
