Under the patronage of the Vice President For
Humanities Faculties, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Majdoubeh, the Francophone Center
for Research (PAI) was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Herve Sabourin,
Director of the Middle East Office of Agence universitaire de la francophonie
(AUF), Ms. Salwa Nicouzi, Coordinator of University Relations and Higher
Education at the French Embassy, Dr. Narjes Ennaser Assistant Dean for
Administrative Affairs, and a number of
Francophone professors in the Department of French Language and Literature and
at The University of Jordan. The opening ceremony was coordinated by the AUF,
the French Embassy and Dr. Shireen Kakish, Coordinator of the UJ's relations
with AUF.
