Today, March 18, 2024, the Turkish Language Section participated in commemorating the March 18 Martyrs’ Remembrance Day and the Çanakkale Victory Day, at the Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery in Balqa Governorate - Salt. The commemoration of Remembrance Day was organized by the Turkish Embassy in Amman in cooperation with the Turkish Yunus Emre Cultural Institute. This was under the patronage of His Excellency the Turkish Ambassador to Amman, Erdem Ozan, the Mayor of Greater Salt, Muhammad Al-Hiyari and in the presence of the Director of the Yunus Emre Institute, Ensar Fırat, the faculty members of the Turkish Language Section at the University of Jordan, as well as the ambassadors of the countries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Bulgaria.
