As part of the Career Readiness course, the Korean Language Section of the Department of Asian Languages hosted on Thursday, May 22, 2025, a meeting with Ms. Aseel Matar, an Overseas Procurement Specialist at Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd (KOSPO)– Jordan, Ms. Wala Yassin, marketing expert at the Commercial Attache of the Korean Embassy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), and Ms. Esraa Al-Kurdi, specialist in the Research Department at the same Commercial Attache and agency (KOTRA).
The meeting was attended by Dr. Esraa Hasan, Coordinator of the Korean Language section, along with students expected to graduate from the Korean and Russian language sections.
During the meeting, the experts shared their experiences, offered valuable tips and insights from their professional journeys, and engaged in discussions with the students about the challenges and advantages of working in such companies. They also addressed best practices for writing effective resumes and successfully passing job interviews.
