The Chinese Language Section of the Department of Asian Languages/ School of Foreign Languages at the University of Jordan hosted the first stage of the "Chinese Language Bridge" competition for the university's students in its twenty-second edition for the year 2023. The event was held on Wednesday, April 26 at 10 a.m. in the Chinese corner of the University of Jordan, in attendance of the coordinator of the Chinese Language Section, Dr. Liu Guan Hua, Dr. Yousef Khataybeh, Dr. Hu Shu Hong, Dr. Jinan Ismail, Dr. Amer Barhoumeh, and Dr. Shoroq Al Qawasmi, who organized the competition.
A total of 26 students from the Chinese Language Section at the University of Jordan participated in the 2023 "Chinese Language Bridge" competition, with this year's theme "One World, One Family." Each student expressed his/her own perspective on this theme using Mandarin Chinese. The first stage of the competition ended with 11 students qualifying for the second stage, where they will represent the University of Jordan at the national level.
