The first and fourth year students of the Chinese language section at the University of Jordan, accompanied by the coordinator, Dr. Liu Guanhua and teachers Hu Shu Hong, Jenan Ismail, and Shorouq Al-Qawasmi, attended the (Tea for Harmony) event organized by the Chinese Cultural Center in Amman, May 25, 2023, to learn about Chinese tea culture, in which more than 100 participants, including Jordanian and Chinese officials and local residents participated.
Jenan Ismail, a Chinese language teacher translated Chinese and Arabic for the Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Chen Chuan Dong, and the Jordanian Princess Dana Firas.
Also, tea arts performances of Sichuan Province in Southeast China, and other performances were presented, such as the show of ancient traditional clothes (han fu), in which the fourth-year students of the Chinese language section participated: Laian Khaled, Lillian Al-Baraysa, Huda Dweik, Yasmine Masalmeh, and Batool Al-Amayreh.
