The Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Ziad Al-Hawamdeh, met with a delegation from The Jordan Armed Forces Language Institute (JAFLI), consisting of the Commander of the Institute, Colonel Hassan Al-Maaytah, the Commander of the English Language Wing, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Al-Na’ana, and the heads of the departments at the Institute.
Al-Hawamdeh discussed with the delegation the possibility of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two parties in the fields of language teaching, by signing memorandums of understanding at a later stage.
During the meeting, Al-Hawamdeh presented the unprecedented development of the University of Jordan. It ranks 368th in the world according to the QS World Ranking, an achievement that came as a result of accumulated effort and prolonged work to reach this high position.
Al-Hawamdeh explained that the university’s mission is to establish partnerships with national and foreign institutions and he expressed his happiness to cooperate with the Institute of Languages in the Armed Forces. He stressed that this cooperation will open horizons for academic and student exchange and the exchange of experiences between JAFLI and UJ.
