As part of the policy of the Department of English Language and Literature in communicating with postgraduate students and providing academic advising to them, the department organized on Tuesday 10/22/2024 a meeting that brought together the head of the department, Dr. Hussein Al-Hawamdeh, the academic advisor, Professor Yousef Abu Amrieh, and faculty members, Dr. Barkuzar Al-Dubbati and Dr. Zaydoun Al-Sharaa, and a number of PhD students in English Literature.
During the meeting that was attended partly by the Dean of the School Dr. Marwan Al-Jarrah, staff members welcomed new students and congratulated them on their enrollment in the program. The students were also informed of some matters related to the study plan, UJ's regulations for granting a doctoral degree, publishing research in academic journals, and the qualifying exam.
Dr. Manal Abu Rumman, an alumnus of the doctorate program and currently the head of the Foreign Curriculum Department at the Ministry of Education, shared with the students her academic experience for the period from 2018 to 2022, praising the program's learning outcomes.
Dr. Al-Hawamdeh and faculty members also answered the students' inquiries and listened to their comments.
