The Academic Advising Committee at the School of Foreign Languages Holds a Meeting with Students

​The Academic Advising Committee at the School of Foreign Languages, chaired by Dr. Sukaina Ali, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Training, held an interactive online meeting with students via Microsoft Teams. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Hadi Hamdan, Dr. Sara Saleh, Dr. Yasmeen Qaraqish, and Dr. Amal Khalifah from the school’s academic departments, reflecting a strong collaborative commitment to supporting students’ academic progress.


The meeting addressed the latest updates to the study plan and its revisions, in addition to providing a detailed explanation of how to use the advising plan when registering courses at the beginning of each academic semester, enabling students to plan their academic path more effectively.

The session also highlighted the importance of maintaining regular communication with academic advisors and outlined the available channels and mechanisms for doing so, emphasizing the essential role of academic advising in supporting students throughout their university journey and helping them overcome potential challenges.

Furthermore, the committee stressed the importance of adhering to the university’s regulations and guidelines, as such compliance contributes significantly to enhancing students’ academic performance and achievement. The meeting concluded with a Q&A segment, during which students’ inquiries were addressed in an interactive and engaging atmosphere, reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering constructive communication with its students.
