Additionally, scholarships are provided to students by the Confucius Institute in collaboration with the embassy, enabling them to study at Chinese universities. Vision Statements of the Program: The vision of the Chinese Language Section is centered on attaining leadership and excellence in cultivating a generation of proficient language speakers, particularly in response to the challenges encountered by the knowledge society. It serves as the University of Jordan's gateway to the world. Mission Statements of the Program: Offering exceptional teaching approaches and generating high-quality research aligning with the university's overarching mission as a research-focused institution. This involves cultivating an enriching educational atmosphere conducive to intellectual creativity, while also fostering cultural connections between Jordan and the global community, with a special emphasis on China. Moreover, it entails establishing impactful strategic collaborations on both regional and global scales. Program Aims: 1. Equipping both local and international job markets with graduates specialized in the Chinese language, expanding their global perspectives through interaction with modern theories of globalization. 2. Embracing the international community and engaging with its diverse languages to confront contemporary challenges and meet the demands of the local, regional, and global labor markets. 3. Providing students with the skills for cultural exchange with various civilizations, enabling Jordanian society to benefit from the positive ideas, initiatives, and practices of both Eastern and Western cultures, thereby serving the interests of Jordan and the broader Arab-Islamic community. 4.
