The PhD Dissertation of student Sajeda Ahmad Ajlouni , titled “An Analysis of Visual Pain Metaphors in Static Cartoons and Short Animated Films: A Contrastive Study” was defended at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Department of English Language and Literature. The dissertation was supervised by Dr Aseel Zibin. The examination committee consisted of Professor Yazeed Hamouri, Professor Lutfi Abu Al-Haija, and Dr. Nimer Abu Saleem.
