The PhD dissertation of student, Soumia Mekahli titled "An Investigation of the Conceptualisation of Gratitude and Its Strategies: Evidence from Algerian and Jordanian Speakers of Arabic" was defended at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Department of English Language and Literature. The dissertation was supervised by Dr. Aseel Zibin. The examination committee consisted of Professor Jihad Hamdan, Dr. Marwan Jarrah, and Dr. Basil Mashaqbah.
