As part of promoting cultural exchange and intercultural dialogue among students, Dr. Mahmoud Abdullah organized a cultural dialogue workshop that brought together students from the Chinese Language Department and the Arabic Language Department, with the aim of deepening mutual understanding between Chinese and Arab cultures.
The workshop discussed similarities and differences in traditional festivals within both cultures, including ways of celebration and their social and cultural meanings, as well as food traditions and popular dishes that characterize each culture. The meeting also provided students with an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences and to explore shared values reflected in festivals and cuisine in both Chinese and Arab societies.
