Interactive Lecture on "Contemporary Turkish Languages" within the "Grammar 1/ Turkish" Course

On January 11, 2026, during the first term of the 2025-2026 academic year, an interactive lecture titled "Contemporary Turkish Languages" was conducted as part of the “Grammar 1” course (2204213), organized by the course coordinator Dr. Bagdagul MUSSA. The lecture was attended by distinguished guests representing several countries: Jangeldi Darhanuli from Kazakhstan, Zumrud Dadashova from Azerbaijan, and Orozon Kasymov from Kyrgyzstan, and Zafar Rustamov from Uzbekistan. Dr. Utku ÖDEN, a member of the Research Group and Joud Abu Abeeleh, a lecturer of Turkish language, also attended the lecture.

During the lecture, by introducing themselves in their native languages and speaking in Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Uzbek languages, the guests gave students the opportunity to hear contemporary Turkish languages directly. Orozon Kasymov read a part of "Tolganay (Mother Earth Book)," one of the famous literary works of Kyrgyz famous writer Chinghiz Aitmatov.
Through this interactive lecture, students were able to learn about Contemporary Turkish Languages not only through books and articles, but also through direct, hands-on experience.
